Episode 204 – Ron Smith
Ron Smith is a really remarkable person. He is a family friend who I had never met but always heard stories about how he was a great story teller and a talented artist. I had the plan to do a episode with him for a while and in the last few weeks before I left for Toronto I decided to finally make it happen. I called him up and he was more than willing to have me come over and spend the day with him talking about his carvings. When I arrived at his house and met him for the first...

Episode 202 – Gart Darley
I have been looking forward to posting this episode for while. Gart told me about this idea, and after weeks of organizing schedules we all got together and made it happen. This episode was shot almost five months ago, I made a first cut and showed it to a few of the people involved and was satisfied; however, as more and more time went on I thought it needed to be changed. I ended up doing a completely new edit that I am much happier with then the original. Enjoy. PLAY VIDEO Read More
NEW creative haBITS
This new creative haBITS is my favourite thing I have ever filmed. It is not often that I am able to capture a completely honest moment, without people feeling slightly awkward with a camera pointed in their face. I won’t say anymore about it because it speaks for itself, all I ask is that you sit down, turn off any distractions around you and experience this moment with Kris. Enjoy. PLAY VIDEO Read More
Episode 201 – Myles Miller Part 2
Part 2 of Myles’ episode is a bit of a departure for Creative Habits. I had this great story of Myles’ trip through South East Asia and I was faced with chopping it into something that would fit into the biking episode or letting the story stand alone and speak for itself. I chose to let it speak for itself, no fancy editing, no Creative Habits branding, just Myles and his experiences. Enjoy. Read More
Episode 201 – Myles Miller
“The best way to create a documentary is to find a muse that you are comfortable with and never take the camera off of them. The story will create itself.” - Ariel Schulman So here we go, season 2. I wanted to start off this new batch of episodes the same way I started the first batch, with Myles Miller. If you haven’t seen his graffiti episode go watch it, but for now here is part 1 of the second Myles Miller episode. WATCH NOW Read More
tiff.
So right now TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) is going full steam ahead. It is really cool to be around the people that have inspired me for years. I saw a documentary called “Urbanized” made by one of my favourite directors Gary Hustwit, not only was the film amazing but I was lucky enough to meet and talk to Gary. Everyone should watch his documentaries (Helvetica, Objectified, and Urbanized), because they will amaze you. Being around so many creative people...
